Torah Fund 5772

Hiddur Mitzvah, embellishing a mitzvah through aesthetics, is this year’s Torah Fund theme.  With enhancement and adornment, the mitzvot appeal to the senses and the heart, and sacred objects and activities become even more precious.  This theme resonates with many Jwish Women, particularly those who have been involved in artistic activities for the beautification of ritual items.  The pomegranate imagery of this year’s Torah Fund pin has multilayered meaning.  In addition to being beautiful, pomegranates are one of the bountiful fruits of the land of Israel.  Each pomegranate is said to contain 613 seeds, a reminder of the total number of mitzvot.  The Torah Fund pin is our gift to you in recognition of your support at the benefactor level or above.  For more information please call Torah fund VP, Shelly Gross, 561-997-1690 or Torah Fund Chair, Sherry Sukel, 561-488-7177.
Take Care,
Shelly Gross
